Flora and her team are incredible. They came to the Airbnb we were staying and at made us feel so comfortable! We even played The Office on the living room TV.

The hair and makeup stayed on all night. It's natural, yet looks great on camera. She uses high quality products and understands different skin types so that the makeup compliments your face. I was so so happy!

I looked for a LONG time for the perfect person to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. I interviewed several people and even did a trial with one of them. Then I found Flora. I was super impressed right from the beginning by her professionalism, her calm, gentle manner and the fact that she took one of the most important days of my life very seriously.

Not only is Flora experienced at doing hair and makeup for weddings, but her personality is also lovely, which may sound weird but I found out quickly that if I was going to spend 2-3 hours with her on my wedding day, I wanted us to have a comfortable, natural connection. I'm super chill and laid back, so I knew I probably wouldn't be comfortable with someone who was super talkative, loud or fake.

I also love how Flora handles her business. Booking with her was easy and she has a whole process set up for wedding trials and day-of. This was also something on my checklist - no use in adding ANY extra stress when it comes to my wedding!

Last but not least, I'm SO happy with the way Flora did my mom's hair and makeup. My mom is 74 and doesn't wear makeup or do much with her hair at all and I was afraid that she was going to be uncomfortable with the whole process. But Flora has such a calming, gracious presence that my mom felt completely at ease and, not to mention, her hair and makeup were PERFECT. Not too "done" but pretty and natural.

I am SOOOO happy with Flora and will be recommending her to all of my friends for future events.

Eddie did my hair and makeup for a Marine Corps ball that I was attending and she did a FABULOUS job! She is very talented with both hair and makeup. Kerry helped me for my wedding day look and everyone loved it. It's super natural, sweet and elegant. The hairstyle helped to make my face looks smaller and the makeup last the whole night without any touch up. Kerry is a very nice person to work with and she can do whatever I have asked her. I had a updo hairstyle for the ceremony and dinner then transited it to half down style for the dancing party. She made sure my maid of honor understood how to remove the clips and it's super simple. The team at refined beauty are wonderful! I had the pleasure of having Eddie to my hair and makeup. I am not used to wearing makeup so I'm not always comfortable with the feel or the look. But not with Eddie! She took my general idea and I ended up with a beautiful, natural look. Shay and Julie were part of her team and they did a terrific job on my bridesmaids and the moms. Everyone complimented how beautiful we all looked. The best part is that we all looked just as amazing 12 hours later after dancing and "glistening". Nothing even smudged a bit!

I'll preface this my mentioning that I have never really thought of myself as pretty. It was extremely important to me that I felt confident and beautiful for my wedding, so after a disastrous trial with a different artist two weeks before the day, I was beginning to lose hope. But my fears and worries were eased when I booked a last minute trial with Flora who is probably one of the sweetest and most talented people I've met. I didn't give her much to work with as far as what I envisioned my hair and makeup to be, but she really took the reins and worked her magic, doing what she thought would look good on me, but always taking my opinions into consideration. I was blown away. I've never felt more beautiful.

On the day of the wedding, she and another member of the team (I forgot her name, I'm so sorry!) came a few minutes early to set up and started on two of my bridesmaids right on time. My bridesmaids looked so good, it made me tear up lol. By the time that we got started on my makeup, I learned that my mom, who needed to get her hair done, was running very late. It wasn't a part of her job, but Flora did such a good job at keeping me calm and helping me not have a nervous breakdown. They managed to use what little time was left to do my mom's hair, which turned out amazing. My makeup was everything I could have asked for. Full coverage without looking fake and cakey and nothing was too harsh and everything was blended seamlessly. I went for a half up look for my hair with loose braids and loose, beachy waves. Both lasted the whole day, from 11:00am to midnight in 90 DEGREE SEPTEMBER WEATHER for an outdoor wedding! And I have facial hyperhidrosis, which means that I can easily have sweat streaming down my face with minimal effort, and that makeup did not budge through all the wiping and dabbing. They do provide a touch up kit with setting powder, extra lipstick, etc. and I did not need to use it. My bridesmaids' makeup, which was done by the other artist, lasted the whole night as well, and they were receiving so many compliments.

As somebody who has a very low self-esteem, I look back at my pictures with such warmth and happiness, because I truly looked and felt beautiful, which is something that I never thought I would feel. Flora did my makeup for my engagement shoot this past weekend and I couldn't be more pleased. I absolutely loved the way it turned out and I felt beautiful! From my initial inquiry Flora was great to work with. She was incredibly responsive and professional. On the day of my shoot she arrived on time (actually a bit early which was great) and even went out of her way to find lower cost parking options. I loved the products she used and how she checked throughout to make sure I was liking the direction we were going. She was so friendly and calm and I trusted her immediately. For my wedding I had hair & make up services done on June 8, 2019. First of all, my entire schedule for my wedding day was set back because my bridesmaids showed up late for their appointments. I believe Jackie M. arrived at 08:30 early in the morning and waited for an entire hour until the first bridesmaid showed up. Jackie was very understanding and patient despite us being unorganized. Not only that but another hair artist(Kam) was sent last minute to make sure that we wouldn't be late on timing, which was really appreciated. We would have been super late for the wedding if it wasn't for that extra help. Overall, the hair for my bridesmaids turned out stunning! All of my bridesmaids loved their hair- the curls stayed in place. I instructed my bridesmaids to have pictures ready of how they wanted their hair to be and Jackie & Kam did a great job of following the hairstyles.

For my hair, I did a trial bridal hair with Jackie M. before my wedding date. After looking through many pictures on Pinterest, I knew I wanted my hair up but I was very unsure of how exactly I wanted it. For the bridal trial I instructed Jackie to do a low ponytail with my hair parted in the middle. I provided my hair extensions and tiara for Jackie to apply.At the end of the trial, Jackie did my hair exactly how it was in the picture that I showed her but overall I thought that the hair didn't really look good on me compared to the model on the picture.I went home looking for more pictures that would better suit my face. The day of the wedding I did a last minute change on Jackie and she was very flexible and understanding of my last minute changes. Towards the end, I made her do a few last minute touches of how I wanted the front of my hair to be. Despite Jackie being rushed by our photographer to finish early, she handled the pressure very well and she made sure that I was happy with my hair. It turned out exactly how I wanted it to be. My hair was long, full, beautiful romantic waves that stayed put throughout my wedding day.

For the makeup, another different artist (whose name I will no mention publicly), T, was assigned. My idea for the girls' make up was for it to be very natural and all of my girls agreed because none of them really wear a lot of makeup on the daily. However, T's makeup was quite heavy and I felt that she went too heavy on the foundation, especially for my mom's makeup. Two of my bridesmaids' makeup turned out amazing though- and I had another three bridesmaids complain about their makeup being too "heavy". Another bridesmaid ended up having metallic shimmery pink eye shadow and that is the opposite of natural. So I don't know if the natural makeup was communicated well or not. I did my own makeup for my wedding by choice. However, I wish that I had trialed the makeup services to see T's work before seeing it on my girls the day of my wedding.

Throughout all the chaos and drama during that day, the Refined Beauty team stayed calm, sweet, and focused on their tasks.There are a few things that I would have done differently, but overall I was pleased with the hair services and how good the artists are with timing.

I'm not even sure where to begin. Kerry, Flora, and their artists were an awesome group to have from the moment of my trial to the day of my wedding. I can't thank them enough for taking charge over a group of 15 or so women. They were timely, extremely flexible, and just so easy to work with. Regardless of all the other things going on behind the scenes, they did an amazing job getting through it all.

Part 1 - Trial Appointment

When I first met Flora at my initial wedding makeup trial I was a bit nervous but her soothing and calm demeanor made me feel secure. We went over what styles of makeup I was interested in , and was very honest in her abilities. When getting the makeup started we began learn about each-other , she is really easy to talk to and again she has a very calm voice that make me feel calm, which for the wedding was key in keeping my cool. My makeup was stunning that I booked her right away for my wedding. I would recommend Refined Beauty to anyone. My makeup trial was amazing and she is easy to get along with. Part 2: Wedding Day Makeup and Hair
When I the day started I woke up a little nervous but when Flora arrived to my hotel she made me feel calm and re-assured me that we would have more than enough time to do myself, my mother one of my bridesmaids. My mother was first she is 56 years young and she loved her makeup and hair she knows how to work with mature skin and did a perfect job improving her wrinkles and made her feel beautiful my mother also loved her hair . Then it was myself with my makeup Flora really knows how to read people and know when to give helpful advice. Flora told me to breath and gave me relaxing techniques that I really needed at the time. If you are looking for a makeup artist that will help aid in making you feel good inside and out this is your girl. I loved my hair it did stay all night and my makeup stayed all night until the honeymoon suite. My bridesmaid was last and I loved that Flora knew how to work with dark skin tone and made my friend look beautiful. Flora brought all her professional makeup supplies and stayed for makeup re-touches and photos at the end. She is very professional and would definitely re-hire her for future events.

Booked Kerry for my engagement photo hair and makeup. She is punctual and sweet. She listens to my needs and deliver what I want. My makeup last all day after the all the sweat. Having someone who understand Asian features is a big plus when it comes to makeup!! Thankful to have her do my makeup~

I'm so happy I had Refined Beauty for my wedding day. I only requested hair but Eddie did such a fantastic job with mine and my bridesmaids. We all looked so beautiful. The curls we did that day didn't last long because of the style so we went with a tighter curl on the wedding day as long as some extensions that matched perfectly with my balayage. Kerry and the Refined Beauty team were amazing! I wanted to have a natural glam look with airbrush, and Kerry definitely delivered. Being Filipina, I know from experience that not all makeup artists know how to do makeup for Asian faces, so I did my Instagram/Yelp research to find artists who knew what to do. Refined Beauty was the best of the bunch!

Kerry and her partner did the makeup for 6 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 2 sisters. I was nervous we would be cutting the timeline close, but these talented artists made it all happen. They even gave us all little touch-up packages to touch up our makeup throughout the day. They were so fun to be with the day-of, and helped keep the morning stress-free.

Some tips for brides: Ask your MUA to stay after you've opened a present or read a letter from your soon-to-be husband and do a makeup trial before the wedding so that you can purchase the lipcolor ahead of time! I did do the makeup trial but didn't think ahead enough to buy the lip color Kerry used on me. She mixed two colors to make a unique one so I couldn't find one similar at any of the stores I went to. I also cried a ton when I read my husband's letter, and wish that I had asked Kerry to stay to touch me up. Still, the makeup stayed, despite all my tears!

I would highly recommend Refined Beauty! They are super professional, friendly, and affordable for the quality of service they provide.

Flora is amazing! She did my wedding hair/ makeup and I am so pleased with how it all turned out. When I met her for the trial, I showed her a picture of what I didn't want, but I had a hard time explaining what I did want! She's obviously great at what she does because she nailed the look! I did the trial two days before the wedding (because I live out of town) and she told me to make any notes of things I wanted to change/ modify for the actual day of. I appreciated this because she is open to working with you to make you feel your best. We did end up making a few minor changes and I'm so happy with everything! (It also made the trial totally worth it because of the constructive changes made from it).

On the day of the wedding, she had two assistants with her, since we needed hair/makeup for myself, 6 bridesmaids and two mothers. The team was so efficient that we had extra time to hang out before all the wedding craziness began! Also, Flora is so professional and amicable and the bridesmaids loved her even though they had all just met!

Overall, I thought she was fantastic and I would highly recommend her for anyone needing hair or makeup services. In addition, her rates were very affordable compared to many others that I received, and totally worthwhile! Thank you Flora!

Julee is wonderful! She did hair and makeup for our twin girls for their prom and they both looked fabulous for the whole night. Julee communicated via email one week ahead to understand both girls' preferences and on the day of the prom asked specific questions about what the girls liked about the photos sent to Julee earlier in the week. I loved her attention to detail and that's what made both girls so beautiful and yet still very much themselves. On the day of the makeup Julee arrived 15 minutes early to setup her workspace and even brought her own makeup chair. During the 3.5 hour session Julee worked efficiently, professionally, kept lively conversations and shared her own stories of prom and made our girls and their friends feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend Julee to my friends for special events hair and makeup.

Flora was so good! Not only she was able to take my daughter with only one day notice for prom, she did a great job! My daughter was nervous since she doesn't usually wear make up or do her hair. Flora spent some time to understand and to clarify what she like about photos/sample make up and hair shared so she could recreate it. Communication was excellent prior to the appointment. Everything turned out well, beyond what we had expected! thank you!

Kerry is amazing! I'm so happy that I found her to be my makeup/hair stylist for my wedding day. She is great at listening to what you want and also giving you suggestions for what would look good. I don't typically wear makeup and I never do my hair but Kerry made me feel and look so natural. She's really responsive via text too since a few of my bridesmaids had questions, as well as my mom and I. Our hair and make-up team consisted of Eddie (Setsuko) and Cherry. Eddy did make-up and hair for a child, Cherry did hair and we were definitely satisfied with their services. We had 9 for hair and make-up (including 2 for hair only). Services began at 6am and we were done by 11:30, just as we requested! Eddie and Cherry we're punctual, professional and extremely nice and sweet! It's not easy dealing with ladies who only wear makeup on special occasions or who have hair that's so short it's hard to style. But, Eddie and Cherry we're patient and understanding. Recently I had a sorority anniversary party which we all had to dress in our best evening attire. I wanted an elegant yet sleek hairstyle which there was no way I could do on myself. Hello! I have had the pleasure to book Kerry for many occasions. I had a formal event and was going for a natural look. Kerry surpassed all of my expectations in not looking too "Cakey" since I hardly wear makeup. She also did my makeup for my birthday and it was airbrushed! Love getting my hair and makeup done by Kerry! Ive only gotten my makeup done once by her, but had a good experience. She lets you do trials before the day you need your makeup done. That works out good for someone with Asian eyes like mine that might be a little difficult to get the right look haha. And Ive also been getting my hair cut and dyed for a few years now and I've never been disappointed.

Kerry and her assistant were the real deal. From the beginning to the end, I felt comfortable as she was preparing me for my big day! She did a wondrous job transforming my bridesmaids while still keeping the style fitting their personalities (some wanted big, bold looks, while others wanted a more natural look.)

I am super picky about how my eyebrows are in particular, and Kerry took the time to help me feel 100% comfortable with my entire overall look during my trial. She was also super flexible with helping me book a date for my trial that worked for me, since I was coming from Los Angeles.

Flora and her team were a delight. From start to finish, the whole team was efficient and fun-- accommodating our very large wedding party (2 brides, 2 mothers of the bride, 2 flower girls, 10 bridesmaids, one performer, and even a best man!). Flora made us feel beautiful yet natural and like our true selves. She even left us with a mini touch up kit for throughout the day that including some powder, lip care, etc.

I can not recommend this team enough. Nerves and jitters are only natural the day of but Flora and her team keep things fun and light for all around.

She blended airbrush and foundation on my skin for a flawless look that was long-lasting and shine free. My hair is very resistant to holding a curl, and Flora was persistent in our trials (even offering me extra trials) to try different techniques to make it last on the day of the wedding- and it did! I had beautiful bouncy curls all night long!

On the wedding day itself, she was on time, professional, and got everyone done in the time she said she would-- super important!

I would 100% recommend Flora to do your hair and makeup. I'm really picky and I do tons of research before going forward with my vendors. She did my makeup SO WELL and it stayed on all day and night (second pic), even my lashes! She knows what you want when you tell her your vision, so do your research beforehand. She came to meet us on the wedding day on time even though it was a 1 hour drive and it was super early, and she was such a pleasure to work with. She uses top tier makeup brands, which impressed me. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding, so I didn't have my makeup or hair done personally by Flora. However, the bride's hair was to die for, and her makeup was so natural and gorgeous too! My makeup was done by Cherry, and I loved it. She didn't make me look like a different person, I was still same ol' me, but way prettier! That wasn't even the best part though. Cherry was so fun to talk to, so easy going, and kept me laughing. I honestly don't know how she didn't mess my makeup up since I kept laughing throughout the application. I've just had my bridal trial with Flora at her beautiful in-home studio (such a cozy and welcoming place -- AND CUTE PUPPER) and I had such a pleasant experience! She really tries to make a connection and earn your trust. I know at least for me, I was super worried going into this -- bc make up and hair is SO important to us brides especially on the wedding day! Don't you fear, Flora's gotcha back (and front). Her make up game is on point, as well as her hair styling skills! I showed her inspo pics from my Pinterest and she immediately knew of the color scheme and look I was going for. She patiently listens to what you want, but also acts as a guidance on what might suit you better. Her prices are so reasonable and she's really accommodating and responsive. She's VERY organized - uses Google calendar and adds any special notes. This is useful for both of us, as I know things will start getting hectic as we near the wedding. This review is going to be full of run-ons and compliments bc there is nothing negative to say about the Flora experience! I scheduled my bridal trial on the same day as my bridal shower (so I can take advantage of looking glammed up) and our schedules happen to work out! I received so many compliments on how great my make up and hair was. My hair is really frizzy (prob due to the summer heat as well) and pieces starting falling out near the end of the shower. I told Flora, and she immediately made notes and really tried to make amends so we can get it right for the day of. THAT, ladies and gentleman, is such wonderful client service. I highly recommend her for all you brides out there, who aren't sure or are still undecided who to choose for your special day.

Flora is incredibly talented and kind. She cares a lot about her clients' happiness and is particularly great with makeup for Asians--which is harder to find/guarantee in the wedding makeup industry. She also has the sweetest dog that you might be lucky enough to meet at your trial.

When I met Flora, I knew right away that I was going to book her. She is sweet, easy-going, flexible... and her make-up philosophy is exactly what I was searching for in a wedding hair and makeup artist. She wants to enhance natural features rather than cover them up.

I went into my trial a little bit nervous because I normally don't wear makeup other than eye shadow and lip color. I told her this, and she tried really hard to make sure that my makeup was natural; however, it still made a tremendous difference. I LOVED it. All the colors were blended together, and my hair, though somewhat short at the time, was still tucked together in a nice updo. I was afraid that everything wouldn't turn out as nice on the actual wedding day, but it did. :) I loved my wedding-day make-up. Although my falsies didn't survive the tears, I just took them off, and the rest of my makeup didn't budge. Pictures still looked great!

Flora is an exceptional hair and makeup artist. If anyone can make things happen it is her. She had done my hair and makeup numerous times for various weddings and parties so She had gained my trust for my engagement party, and wedding. She was phenomenal. She made sure I looked exactly like the picture I showed her. She stopped after every step to show me her process in the mirror and get my confirmation because I was sooo picky on my wedding day. She went above & beyond what any other MUA would have done! I was blown away that the makeup and hair looked the exact same after 16 hours! She made everything so easy and beautiful!

Flora and her team did a fantastic job taking care of me, my moms and bridesmaids for my wedding this past March. Flora is exceptionally professional, sweet, and funny. I had booked the Bridal Package which came with a 3 hour hair and makeup trial and day-of wedding service - her price is really reasonable.

I chosen Flora because I wanted someone who was familiar working with an Asian face and doesn't pack on a bunch of makeup. I found Flora through one of the wedding websites and then looked through her portfolio on her website. In regards to doing trial before booking, I decided to roll the dices and trust Flora's portfolio. I scheduled my trial the week leading up to the wedding because I assumed it would help with Flora remembering my face, what HMU style we discussed, and the breakdown of the schedule. Keeping the memory fresh, yeah? Upon meeting Flora, I had a bunch of photos of makeup and hairstyles I wanted. Flora listened, picked up the style that I was going for and executed it better than I could imagine. She is definitely talented.

On day of wedding, Flora and her team was punctual and successfully got everyone walking out the door, looking beautiful. I even changed my mind on my hair style last minute and Flora handled it professionally with no complaints. Flora was so easy to communicate with and I would definitely recommend her to all of my friends who need any professional HMU done for any special occasion.

Flora was amazing! She came to the hotel to do my hair and make-up for an event. She arrived on time and prepared with everything including her "director's chair". She was professional and such a delight. I had my makeup done over the last month by three different artists, and she was the best of all three. I gave her a photo of the hairstyle, and she duplicated it perfectly. She will be my "go to" for any event in the future.

It was such a nice experience having Flora to be my wedding make up artist. I found her online and liked her style early April. I met her late April to talk about my wedding in September. She was a really nice girl and explained to me the whole process of booking. The meeting went really well and I decided to book her right away. Late August, I went to do my make up trail with her and it was three hours!! The make up looked really nice but I was not able to decide my lipstick color. Flora was really patient and tried two more times until I found the color I like. My wedding was September 24, 2017, like the trail, she did an amazing job and all my friends were telling me I looked so pretty. She also provide me a small make up touch up bag. I was too busy to use it at the wedding. But it was definitely a thoughtful help. I strongly recommend Flora!

Flora did an amazing job on my hair and makeup for my wedding last weekend. At my bridal trial I was not sure of what I wanted. I showed her pictures of a trial I had with another MUA and pinpointed what I did not like, showed her pictures that I found on Pinterest of things I did like. I have Asian eyes (monolids) which is the hardest feature for most MUAs to work with, but Flora handled it with ease. I can tell she has a true understanding of how to hide imperfections and accentuate one's natural beauty. She is patient, gentle, and took her time to listen to what I wanted. She is artistically applying each stroke and tailoring it to fit my features. Flora also took the time with my hair. She listened to my concerns about my hair not holding a curl and suggested that I have it layered some more to bring out more texture (she was right!). I had a late trial that started at 5:30pm and ended almost at 9:00pm, but not once did Flora rush me and she always gave me her undivided attention throughout the whole trial.

After booking, I provided some feedback on the trial and Flora made sure to notate everything I said so that she did not forget them on the wedding day. She always responded to my texts and emails in a timely manner which greatly reduced my stress level as the wedding date approached. When I told her a few days in advance that my 4 bridesmaids would also want hair and makeup done, she immediately gathered her team and confirmed that everyone of my bridal party will be taken care of.

During the wedding day, Flora and her team arrived on time. They were professional and carefully listened to my bridesmaids about what they imaged their hair and makeup to look. Flora dedicated and focused her skills on me while her team worked on my bridesmaids. My wedding makeup/hair was absolutely amazing, even better than the trial! She is the sweetest and most amazing person, giving tips to her team when they were unsure of certain features with my bridesmaids. She even gave me a chance to have some lunch in between makeup while she worked on my hair as she knew that it would be a long day without another moment for food. The result of my makeup was stunning. My hair was voluminous and overall just breathtakingly amazing. My husband and guests all commented on how beautiful I looked. I really felt like I was a princess on my wedding day. My makeup and hair lasted ALL night even after eating and dancing.

I cannot express my gratitude enough to Flora for making me look my very best on this special day. It was a sincere pleasure getting to know her and having her work her magic. This team is professional, organized, punctual and just simply AMAZING! Flora and her team were meticulous about their work, resulting in flawless results. If ever I need a professional makeup/hair stylist again, I will definitely hire this team again.

I had Flora do my wedding and engagement hair and makeup and I was really satisfied with her work. I showed Flora few images I found online, and being a first timer at getting a professional make over, I really had no clue what suites me or what is involved in achieving my "vision". But Flora was really nice and easy to talk to and I felt comfortable in letting her take control. Since I also went to Flora for the engagement makeup, we were able to experiment more times in addition to the bridal trial. Even if there are things I don't like, she was able to fix them and make adjustment based on my feedbacks. And together we were able to work out the look that I feel the most comfortable with. In the end I think the look on my wedding day was great!

My experience with Flora doing my wedding makeup was absolutely amazing!!! Before I hired Flora, I had a bad experience with my last makeup artist. When it comes to making up, sometimes I could be really picky. But, I was so thrilled with Flora's services and I couldn't be happier with results!!! The first impression was that she truly listened to what I wanted and she delivered on everything she said she would. I told her that my skin was really sensitive. She knew exactly how to keep my face nice and clean. Also, Flora used excellent makeup tools and products. One of the most important thing that every bride wants at their wedding is a perfect skin!! That really relates to the products you used and how you applied them on your skin. My skin is really oily and I was worried all the makeup was going to slide off my face pretty soon. Flora is very knowledgeable about how to keep makeup staying for a longer time. I was so surprised and happy that my makeup lasted all day! She is also talented in blending and making perfect skin tone. I remember the product I used on my skin was over oily, she noticed that immediately and applied a more hydrated product on my skin, which made my skin look perfect after makeup! I showed her the hairstyle I wanted and she was able to modify the hairstyle based on my face shape and made an amazing transformation. I got so many compliments on my hairstyle and makeup!!!
I also hired her to do makeup for moms and one bridesmaid. She listened to everyone's preferences and also give suggestions for different skins and coloring. Everyone was so happy about the results!
All in all, I felt so lucky to have Flora for doing my makeup! Not only she produced a very high-quality makeup, but also she was super friendly, caring, and sweet. She was worth every penny and I highly recommend her to all future brides!

Flora was absolutely amazing and very patient from start to end.

Based on my friends' and family's feedback from my trial, I completely changed up a lot of items for the day of including foundation type, undereye concealers, eyebrow shape, hairstyle, etc. I sent her pictures of the styles I wanted ahead of time and she took note of everything to make sure she wouldn't forget.

On the day of, everything ended up absolutely PERFECT and everyone was raving about how flawless my makeup looked the whole night! (As a side note, your personal skincare regimen makes a total difference on how the makeup sits on your face. Make sure you are exfoliating and packing on moisture weeks in advance to achieve that flawless look)

Also on the day of, some of my bridesmaids were particular about their makeup/hair and Flora went out of her way to make sure everyone was satisfied.

Finding a make-up artist was the most stressful part of the wedding planning for me mainly because I'm not a make-up person also because my 1st trial didn't turn out good and made me not want to go through it again. So 2 weeks before the wedding I started researching and that is when I came across Flora on Yelp. She was really accommodating and scheduled the trial same day which I was grateful for.
